The Hall has an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for use by the village community in an emergency. It is situated outside to the left of the main front door.

NEW CAR PARK LIGHTS AT THE VILLAGE HALL

The Village Hall is pleased to announce that, due to a successful application to the National Lottery Community Fund, the old sodium fluorescent car park lights have been replaced by new LEDs. It’s good to have five functioning lights again, and especially as energy consumption will be less. We are very grateful to the National Lottery for the funding, and to Gary Porter for installation. The National Lottery has also funded an update to our CCTV cameras, and replacement of the double glazing in the Legion Room, where many of the panels were ‘blown’.

On-Line Booking System
In order to make our bookings easier to achieve, and less demanding on our members, we have adapted and developed a system from Hallmaster Ltd. for our Village Hall bookings and events. This system is based around an interactive calendar that shows, at a glance, whether a particular date is booked and for what times, to enable you to book the hall for your event. By booking on line, there is no delay in waiting for confirmation. Once you have registered on the site, you can book as many events as you wish, or if you run a regular event, map out all of your events in one go. Invoices are automatically sent to you so that you can keep track of your booking costs. |

Community Hub Status
The hall has once again been granted Community Hub Status for another year - 2025, from our Internet Service Provider Gigaclear. We have Ultra-fast 900Mbps Internet with full WIFI connectivity in the hall!
This will allow us to run many more internet-based activities, to live-stream major events and give us more opportunities to attract more business to the hall.
